Dr. Amato is a board certified surgeon specialized in facial reconstructive surgery and the founder of the Vanish Plastic Surgery Center. Trained in both Medicine and Dentistry, Dr. Amato is a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeon. Unlike many Plastic Surgeons who operate on various areas of the body, Dr. Amato has elected to dedicate his practice exclusively to surgery of the face.
Dr. Amato has trained at many of the best hospitals in the country including: Columbia Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Georgetown Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Amato developed the Vanish Skin Surgery System in 2010. Since that time, he has removed and reconstructed skin lesions in cosmetically significant areas for patients from all over the country and established the first Vanish Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in West Orange, NJ.
